Gay Wedding in Rural North Carolina

On March 23rd, 2016, the North Carolina legislature passed HB2: one of the most (if not the most) anti-LGBT laws that the United States has seen in the past decade. In summary, HB2 defines “classes of people who are protected against discrimination: race, religion, color, national origin, age, handicap or biological sex as designated on a person’s birth certificate.
